Welcome to the webpage of Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church!

We are a congregation located in the small western Pennsylvania city of Grove City. Grove City in 1998 celebrated its bicentennial. Probably the city is known to most because of the fine academic institution of Grove City College located here. Covenant Church has been in the community for over sixty years.

Our purpose at Covenant is to worship and serve our Triune God. We believe our chief end in life is to glorify God. We do that each Lord’s Day morning and evening as we gather for public worship. Our entrance into God’s house is actually a foretaste of the glory that awaits us in heaven. We also believe that it is vital to worship and serve Christ our King in every area of life. Furthermore, we recognize we cannot worship or serve Him without His grace.

At Covenant we seek to be faithful to God’s Word, the Bible. We believe that the Bible reflects His character and is therefore free from error. The Bible is our ultimate source of authority for all matters of doctrine and ethics. We desire to know it for it reveals to us God’s Incarnate and final Word to man–the Lord Jesus Christ. We as well cherish our Reformed Standards. We firmly believe that they are a faithful exposition of the historic Christian faith.

In 1998 Covenant Church was able to construct and dedicate a new church building. Our goal was to build a facility that would reflect our historic Presbyterian heritage. This explains the simple lines, shaker roof tiles, and white pews. We would like to invite you to come and see it some Lord’s Day. We hope that you enjoy even more the true church which is the people of Christ.
